Description
The Argyle jacket made from 100% Wool is part of your traditional highland dress for events such as weddings, dinners, balls, or parties.
It is normally worn with an 8 yard kilt, but can also be worn with tartan trews - black is the most popular because it can be worn with any kilt regardless of what colours make up the tartan.
Differing from Prince Charlie jackets, Agyle jackets have a longer fit and can also be worn for less formal occasions. This traditional Argyle jacket has a smooth crisp finish and is made from 15 ounce barathea wool.
It features braided epaulettes, guantlet cuffs, and silver (nickel plated) jacket buttons.
Please note - the waistcoat is sold seperately.

Measurement Note
When measuring for your jacket and waistcoat please allow at least 1" or 2" give for comfort and movement. For example if you measure as a snug 38" chest order a 40" jacket. The additional size will allow for comfortable body movement when wearing the jacket and waistcoat. Ensure your measurements are accurate re-measure at least twice! If possible get a tailor or seamstress to measure you up.
